It's exciting to see polls that show Americans rejecting the failed leftist policies of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi and turning to candidates who believe in liberty. But the only poll that matters is on election day. It's thrilling to envision a wave of conservative candidates washing away liberal control of Washington. But the wave will only happen if people like you and me make it happen. We have to be the wave.

So here's the plan: We're going to key precincts to help a conservative candidate in a strategically important race get his message to the voters. We're going to remind conservative voters to turn out and vote on election day. We'll meet up at noon. I'll brief everyone and hand out assignments and materials. We'll have something for you to eat, then we'll hit the streets. At the end of the day, we'll report back in, then find someplace nearby to swap stories over a dutch-treat dinner.

We'll be helping Charles Thompson, a veteran and veterinarian from Hulbert, the conservative Republican candidate for 2nd Congressional District. We're working to beat Democrat Pelosi-enabler Dan Boren. This is the closest opportunity to Tulsa to help change Congress.

"Be the Wave" is a nationwide effort of conservative bloggers to mobilize their readers to help make 2010 one of the biggest "wave" elections in history.
